Mrs. Sumita Bhargava - Head, Guldasta School Project

What began almost by chance—when Mrs. Sumita Bhargava was invited by the Vasundhari Society to a Republic Day flag hoisting—soon grew into a journey of resilience and purpose; moved by the teachers’ unwavering dedication despite scarce resources, she chose to support the NGO at a time when the school was on the brink of closing. Today, the school stands stronger, still learning and evolving, yet undeniably moving forward with dignity and determination under her guidance.


Mrs. Bandana Mishra - Senior Teacher

Mrs. Bandana Mishra is the senior-most teacher at Vasundhara Society and has been serving with dedication for the past 20 years. Her long-standing commitment to teaching reflects her deep passion for children’s education and holistic development. Over the years, she has played an important role in guiding students, supporting academic programs, and mentoring fellow teachers. Bandana’s experience, discipline, and nurturing approach make her one of the most respected educators in the institution.

Mrs. Anju Chauhan – Teacher

Mrs. Anju Chauhan is a sincere and hardworking teacher who is committed to nurturing young learners. She is a graduate from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, and has also completed Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), which strengthens her ability to work effectively with early-grade children. Skilled in craft work, Anju brings creativity and hands-on learning into her teaching approach. Her dedication and calm working style make her an important part of the institution.


Ms. Mehak Rani - Teacher

Ms. Mehak Rani is a dedicated and sincere teacher committed to supporting children’s holistic development. She holds a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) from SCERT and is JRF & NET qualified, along with being CTET qualified. Known for her excellent speaking skills, empathy, and disciplined work ethic, Mehak believes in delivering quality education and creating meaningful learning experiences for every child. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Hindi Literature.


Ms. Beena Bhatt–Teacher

Ms. Beena Bhatt is a sincere and calm teacher who brings patience and positivity to her classroom. Known for her gentle nature and supportive approach, she works with dedication to help children learn at their own pace. Her commitment to creating a peaceful and nurturing learning environment makes her a valued member of the Vasundhari Society team.



Mr. Harsh Adhikari - Computer Teacher

Mr. Harsh Adhikari is a dedicated Computer Teacher at Vasundhari Society, committed to strengthening digital education for underprivileged children. A graduate of Delhi University and certified in computer studies, he brings both expertise and passion to the classroom. Harsh believes in empowering students through technology, fostering creative learning, and opening pathways to brighter futures.



Mr. Sanjeev Vaid–Mentor

Mr. Sanjeev Vaid, a highly experienced mentor with a Bachelor of Science degree and technical studies from NIT Kurukshetra, now devotes his retirement to supporting children’s learning by sharing his rich knowledge and professional expertise; with a strong background in science and engineering, he inspires students to think logically, ask questions, and grasp concepts with clarity, while his patient, encouraging, and value-driven approach has made him a deeply respected member of the volunteer team.


Mr. Balbir Singh Bhatt - Mentor

Mr. Balbir Singh Bhatt, a dedicated volunteer and mathematics mentor with a Bachelor of Engineering from Manipal Engineering College, brings both academic expertise and practical experience to children’s learning; retired from a successful business career, he now devotes his time to teaching mathematics, helping students build clarity, confidence, and strong problem-solving skills, and with his prior voluntary experience, he has honed the ability to connect with children and simplify complex concepts—his calm, patient, and disciplined approach making him a truly valuable mentor for young learners.

Mrs. Garima Khandelwal – Mentor

Mrs. Garima Khandelwal is a compassionate and dedicated volunteer committed to the welfare and education of children. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and also works as a tutor, which gives her valuable experience in guiding and mentoring young learners. Known for her kindness, patience, and supportive nature, Garima engages with children lovingly and responsibly, making her a valuable part of the organisation’s volunteer team.


Mr. Neeraj Gupta – Mentor

Neeraj Gupta is a dedicated educator and senior volunteer who blends academic excellence with a deep passion for nurturing young minds. A graduate with a B.Sc. Engineering (Honours) in Civil Engineering, he retired as Joint General Manager from a Public Sector Undertaking after a distinguished career in the engineering field.
Following his professional journey, Neeraj chose to devote his time to education and social service. For over three years, he has been teaching in NGOs, where his gift for mathematics, clear explanations, and engaging storytelling have made learning joyful and accessible for children. His ability to create interest-based learning environments ensures that every child feels encouraged and inspired.
